Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Application Support Analyst to provide technical and functional support for our business-critical applications. You will act as a key liaison between end-users, developers, and system administrators, ensuring smooth operation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide first- and second-line support for enterprise applications, ensuring incidents and service requests are logged, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.

– Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

– Troubleshoot functional and technical problems with applications and escalate complex issues to development or third-party vendors.

– Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.

– Document incidents, solutions, user guides, and support procedures.

– Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and support application changes or enhancements.

– Participate in system testing, release management, and deployment activities.

– Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and ITIL processes.

– Assist in user access control and security management for supported applications.

– Provide training or guidance to end users as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

– 2+ years of experience in an application support or similar IT support role.

– Solid understanding of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial systems).

– Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

– Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing data issues.

– Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy).

– Experience with Windows environments.

– Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting).

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience supporting SaaS or cloud-based applications.

– Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

– Exposure to APIs, data integration, or middleware tools.

– ITIL Foundation Certification.
