We’re looking for an Atlassian System Engineer to support a large-scale, high-impact digital environment used across education and research. If you know Jira and Confluence inside out, enjoy Linux engineering, and thrive in a DevOps culture, this could be a perfect next step. What you’ll do:
– Keep our Atlassian environments stable, secure, high-performing, and future-proof
– Manage Linux platforms, databases, integrations, and plug-ins
– Troubleshoot complex issues and prevent them from recurring
– Improve workflows, automate processes, and streamline system landscapes
– Support the move from Data Center to a next-generation Atlassian solution
– Drive better reporting, optimisation, and service improvements
– Collaborate closely with internal IT teams in an open, friendly, knowledge-sharing environment What you bring: ✔ Deep knowledge of Jira, Confluence & related Atlassian tools ✔ Strong Linux administration and scripting skills ✔ Understanding of ITIL processes ✔ Proactive, communicative, and service-driven mindset ✔ Continuous learner with an eye for innovation ✔ Proficiency in Dutch & English Salary: €4,791 – €6,845 Flexible working, supportive culture, and real autonomy to shape systems that matter.
