Role Overview:
The HR Advisor will support the HR Director, Central Europe, across a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, policy compliance, and HR operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of HR activities in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the HR Director with employee relations cases and change management processes.
– Manage HR advisory matters, ensuring adherence to HR policies and practices.
– Build and maintain effective relationships at all organisational levels.
– Streamline HR processes and recommend policy improvements.
– Oversee the new-hire and onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration.
– Support monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
– Communicate employee changes to benefits providers and manage related communications.
– Coordinate HR activities with third-party providers, including benefits enrolment and performance reviews.
– Promote employee satisfaction by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Organisational Responsibilities:
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
– Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
– Stay updated on industry changes and apply new knowledge to responsibilities.
About You:
Knowledge & Qualifications:
– Proficient in English and Dutch and/or German; additional European languages (French, Spanish, Danish) are advantageous.
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or equivalent experience.
– Proven experience in HR management within a multicultural, international, fast-paced environment.
– Strong knowledge of labour laws, particularly Dutch labour law.
Experience & Skills:
– Demonstrable experience as an HR Advisor, with expertise in HR policies and processes.
– Proven track record in payroll management, recruitment, and employee relations.
– Significant experience in supporting change management.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
– Experience in handling complex employee relations cases.
– Passion for customer service and a flexible, supportive approach.
– Ability to exercise good judgement under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience with Workday or managing third-party vendors is a plus.
