Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for a legal intern in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with an interest in learning about a wide variety of legal topics. The internship has an ideal starting date in February 2025. In this role, you will support the legal team, consisting of the Head of Legal and the Legal Counselor, and assist with various legal tasks within the organization. This position involves discussing and adjusting basic legal documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing document organization, working across jurisdictions, and providing ad-hoc legal advice. The Legal Intern will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the legal operations of the company. To be successful, you need to be adaptable, creative, reliable and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Draft legal documentation: you will be the our point of contact for Non-Disclosure Agreements and will have plenty of opportunity to work with mission-critical contracts on both the customer and supply sides. Become a compliance guru: review customer designs to ensure they comply with our terms of sale, assist with research and ongoing compliance with GDPR, assist in managing export controls compliance. Work across jurisdictions: have the opportunity to learn about and implement laws from different jurisdictions across Europe. Be a jack of all trades: conduct research and give ad-hoc advice on all kinds of legal matters. You are enrolled at a Dutch university in a Master’s degree in Law or you are in the 3rd year of Bachelor of Laws studies (WO) You have full time availability, exceptions for educational obligations can be discussed You are fluent in English. Ideally you already have prior legal work experience such as paralegal work or an internship either in a law firm or a company.
