Our goal is a European network of 1000 fast charging stations in prime locations, where all-electric vehicles can charge with renewable energy from the sun and wind. We have recently been voted the best charging network in the UK, France, and the Netherlands. As our Senior React/React Native Developer you are responsible for developing experiences that are simple, drive engagement and deliver WOW to our users on every journey touchpoint, whether they’re opening our mobile app, browsing our web dashboard, or interacting via in‑car integrations. In this role, you will contribute to our customer-facing products, including the Fastned mobile app and in-car applications. As a true problem-solver, you will be accountable for the delivery of a well functioning product, while teaming up with Product Design to raise the bar on usability. This role is part of the Software team, and works as a member of the scrum team with fellow Frontend Developers, Backend Engineers, Product Owner, Product Designer and QA. Contribute with your team to product development from ideation to deployment; Development, testing and doing code reviews for Fastned frontend applications; Refine with your team feature requirements to deliver a product that materially impacts the business and improves the customer experience; Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to tech decision making; Coach and assist the team in improving development methodologies and applying best practice patterns. You thrive in taking ownership of all software engineering aspects that help create the best-in-class user experience. Minimum 3 years of experience with React Native. Develop, test and review code for both React Native and React/Next.Js applications. Experience with Jest for testing. Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development Problem-solver, innovative in finding and guiding development solutions. Team player with a collaborative mindset. Experience with Maestro testing. Experience with Apple Car Play/Android Auto development.
