As Senior Financial Controller – Inventory & Logistics, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory-related costs across the organization. This role ensures accurate valuation of inventory, monitors cost variances, and supports strategic decision-making through detailed analysis and reporting. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency. You are an expert on Goods Movement in SAP. You work closely with the Logistics team and the OPS team to ensure correct and accurate inventory cost entries. You are part of the finance department and report to the Head of Finance. You are able to take along the Finance team and convince others of the added value of changes/improvement; Ensure accurate and timely valuation of inventory in accordance with IFRS accounting standards. Analyze and reconcile inventory accounts monthly. Cost Analysis & Reporting purchase price, production, freight, duties etc). Identify opportunities to improve inventory cost control processes. Collaborate with supply chain, sourcing, and operations to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Work closely with Finance, Sourcing, Operations, Product, Master data and IT to ensure data accuracy and process alignment. Support SAP system enhancements related to inventory and costing modules. You have a Master degree in Finance or Accounting and have several years of experience within a similar positions and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in an international organization; Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS); Experience in SAP is amust. This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible. To apply for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
