Role Overview The (Senior) Manager in IT Strategy plays a key role in helping organizations navigate digital transformation. This person will collaborate with C-level executives and IT leaders to define and execute strategies that modernize IT operations, enable cloud adoption, and align technology with broader business goals. They will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder environments, and ensure that every engagement delivers both strategic insight and tangible results. Key Responsibilities → Partner with clients to assess their IT landscape, identify challenges, and define transformation roadmaps. → Lead comprehensive IT and cloud strategy assessments to identify opportunities for modernization. → Design and implement new IT operating models that enhance agility, performance, and governance. → Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven insights. → Ensure alignment of IT strategy initiatives with compliance standards, security frameworks, and best practices. → Develop and oversee change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and adoption. → Advise on the integration of new technologies, platforms, and systems into clients’ environments. → Identify risks associated with IT strategy initiatives and define mitigation strategies. → Manage, coach, and develop consulting teams, fostering both technical excellence and client engagement skills. → Define KPIs to track transformation success and regularly report progress to key stakeholders. → Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationships. Candidate Profile → Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. → Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT consulting, with a focus on IT transformation, digital strategy, or operating model design. → Proven experience managing teams and leading complex transformation projects. → Strong understanding of IT trends, emerging technologies, and digital innovation. → Business acumen and the ability to align IT strategy with organizational goals. → Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. → Strong communication and presentation abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences. → Experience in cloud strategy, IT governance, and cost optimization is preferred. → Relevant certifications in IT management, project management (e.G., PMP), or digital transformation (e.G., CDT) are a plus. → Fluent in Dutch and English.
