G2 is currently looking for a Freelance Aftersales Engineer to join our client in the Randstad.
Our client is a machinery company specializing in food processing machinery. They are seeking to expand their team for the next 3 to 6 months to manage their international clients.
The role of an aftersales engineer is suitable for candidates with backgrounds involving problem analysis and work preparation. You will perform problem analysis reports on machinery and communicate findings to relevant teams to resolve issues. You will also need to initiate and prepare orders for spare parts or machinery requested by customers.
START: As soon as possible
Duration: 3 to 6 months, 32 hours per week
Location: The Randstad
Rate: DEO
Aftersales Engineer Requirements
- Experience in aftersales or field service engineering within the machinery industry
- Food industry experience is a bonus but not required
- Ability to perform problem-solving analysis on machinery
- Efficiently prepare orders for parts and machinery for clients
- Excellent communication skills to ensure high levels of customer service
- English speaking is mandatory; Dutch is a plus
Responsibilities
You will perform problem-solving analysis on machinery for clients worldwide. You will report issues to the engineering and orders departments, order necessary parts, and ensure clients can operate their machinery effectively. This role does not require technical engineering skills but focuses on addressing client problems.
The client is available to start interviews at the earliest convenience.
