Location: The Hague

Contract: 1 year (extension possible)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Position:

We are seeking a Billing and Customer Administration Analyst to join an international team in The Hague. In this role, you will manage billing processes, ensure accurate invoicing, resolve customer queries, and collaborate across departments to improve systems and efficiency. Ideal candidates have a financial background, strong analytical skills, and experience with tools like D365 and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and correct customer and invoice-related information in billing and accounting systems to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Actively contact bespoke customers and follow up to ensure satisfaction with invoices.
  • Resolve disputes or inquiries from customers and colleagues, ensuring timely and complete communication.
  • Issue ad hoc invoices and credit notes from accounting or billing systems.
  • Process purchase orders for prepaid credit.
  • Analyse discrepancies affecting invoicing accuracy or company profitability.
  • Suggest improvements for processes and systems across billing and related departments.
  • Create reports for colleagues and customers.
  • Participate in projects to improve billing processes and systems.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the Operations Manager or Head of Billing.

You have/are:

  • HBO level education.
  • At least two years of financial background.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of D365, Power BI, Power Platform & SQL.
  • Advanced MS Suite skills.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.
  • Customer-oriented and solution-driven.
  • Strong presentation skills and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions when required.
  • Structured and systematic working methods.
  • Commitment to quality and adherence to procedures and deadlines.
  • Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to continuous developments.
  • Maritime industry experience is a plus.
