Are you an experienced Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician looking for a new job in The Hague? Do you have professional automotive experience, but don't speak Dutch? That's no problem. For this position, your technical skills, practical experience and ability to communicate in English are what matter most.
For a professional automotive company in the The Hague region, we are looking for an experienced mechanic who can independently service, maintain and repair passenger cars and diagnose technical problems.
You will work in a modern automotive workshop equipped with professional tools and diagnostic equipment. One day you may be carrying out maintenance and brake repairs, while the next you are diagnosing an electrical fault or working on suspension, engine or drivetrain components. This makes the work varied and technically interesting.
Whether you currently work as a Car Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician, we would be happy to discuss your opportunities in the Netherlands.
What will you do?
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on passenger cars;
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults;
- Use professional diagnostic equipment to identify technical problems;
- Perform brake, suspension, engine and drivetrain repairs;
- Carry out technical vehicle inspections and safety checks;
- Perform APK inspections (Dutch periodic vehicle inspection / MOT) if you already have a valid Dutch APK certification;
- Work on petrol, diesel, hybrid and, depending on your experience, electric vehicles;
- Prepare vehicles for safe and reliable use;
- Check your own work and ensure a high-quality finish;
- Work together with other mechanics, technicians and workshop colleagues;
- Keep your workplace clean, organised and safe.

The modern workshop is equipped for maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and technical inspections on a variety of passenger cars. You will work on different makes, models and vehicle technologies, giving you plenty of technical variety throughout the week.
You will join an experienced team of mechanics and technicians who work together to solve technical problems and deliver quality work. There is room to use your existing automotive knowledge while continuing to develop your skills in diagnostics, modern vehicle technology, hybrid cars and electric vehicles.
You do not need to speak Dutch for this position. If you have professional experience as a mechanic and can communicate with your colleagues in English, you can be a good match for this role.
The workplace is accessible from The Hague (Den Haag), Rijswijk, Delft, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Zoetermeer, Wassenaar and the surrounding Haaglanden region.

Who are you?
- You have professional experience as a Car Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic or Vehicle Technician;
- You can independently perform vehicle maintenance and repairs;
- You have good mechanical knowledge and practical automotive skills;
- Experience with diagnostics and electrical faults is an advantage;
- Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is a plus;
- A valid Dutch APK certification (APK-keurmeester) is an advantage, but not required;
- You can communicate in English;
- Speaking Dutch is not required;
- You have a valid driving licence (category B or equivalent).
