As an Analytics Data Engineer you are the main technical point of contact for the Data Analytics Capability within the core data department of Schiphol
– You are a support pillar for our analysts, making sure that they have the right tools and an efficient technical way of working to continue delivering value for Schiphol.

You are ready to support and mentor the data analysts on best practices within a well-curated environment. Helping to roadmap and build scalable data architectures, that support Schiphol’s 2050 vision while eliminating redundant processes Overseeing Azure Databricks administration – controls, accounts, and access policies – and work alongside the Architecture team to inform and improve our way of working Enforcing code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and peer reviews to ensure robust analytics outputs Implementing security-first practices and compliance frameworks (e.G., GDPR) across all data workflows Mentoring analysts on redundancy mitigation and scalable solution design to future-proof their work You’ll join a team shaping Schiphol’s 2050 vision of an autonomous airport, working with cutting-edge tools like Databricks on Azure. You’ll help drive innovation and professional growth, while making analytics more accessible, lowering the entry-level bar for data analysts to work in a structured, robust tech ecosystem where your impact is seen across business and society.
