The Head of New Business – Europe will be responsible for leading and executing the strategy to acquire new clients and revenue streams across the European region. This role combines strategic planning, sales leadership, and hands-on business development to drive the company’s growth objectives in both established and emerging European markets.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Regional Business Strategy: Develop and implement a regional new business strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Opportunity & Partnership Development: Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities, partnerships, and clients across multiple sectors.
- Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing European new business team, including regional business development representatives.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers across Europe.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach.
- Performance Metrics & Forecasting: Develop regional forecasts, KPIs, and reporting metrics to track performance.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at key events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and expand networks.
- Market & Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments within Europe.
Key Skills
- Proven track record (8+ years) in business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles in a European.
- Strong knowledge of the European market , including cultural, economic, and legal nuances.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and multicultural teams .
- Exceptional communication , negotiation , and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English ; additional European languages are a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
