Staffing agency Manpower is looking for a kitchen assistant for Cirque du Soleil in The Hague.
As a kitchen assistant, you are responsible for:
- Preparing the cold and hot sections of the kitchen line
- Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen equipment and materials
- Checking preparation and serving areas to comply with applicable hygiene and safety standards
- Cutting and preparing meats such as beef, veal, ham, pork, and lamb for both hot and cold dishes and sandwiches
- Preparing various types of meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other ingredients for cooking in ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Restocking and maintaining sufficient inventory at workstations for smooth service
- Following the correct plating and garnishing of all dishes
- Assisting with closing and cleaning the kitchen at the end of the shift
- Helping with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen installation
