About the Role:

We are looking for a warm, reliable, flexible and proactive Spanish- and English-speaking

nanny to join our family of five in the Netherlands. This unique role blends childcare (50%)

with part-time support for YOUNG operations (50%). 

You will care for our three children (ages 6–12), helping them navigate daily routines, take care of the logisitics around the family (playdates, cooking, helping the kids with daily tasks etc) 

At the same time, you will contribute to YOUNG’s projects, operations, and daily rhythms—offering valuable support to our founders and holding team.

Comfortable live-in housing can be provided.

Start date: Summer 2026.

About the Family

We are a positive family of 5; 3 kids of the age of 6 year, 9 years and 12 years. The kids all go to school (primary school and high school). Days will start in the morning to help the parents with the daily routine and to get the kids ready for school; packing backpacks, helping with the hygiene, breakfast etc. 

Their school day will end at 14:45 (wednesday at12:30) than they need to be picked up, getting them ready for sports, having playdates, making diner ready etc. 

We have a cargobike to handle the logistics, everything is closeby in the area. 

We live closby the dunes, sea, city centre and many nice parks. 

The mother of the family is working in the hospital as medical doctor and has 1 day per week off while taking 100% care of the kids that day, the father is founder/owner of YOUNG. Flexibility is a requirement, since the week schedule can change due to work schedules, holidays etc. 

We have an optional in inhouse living option, or can help with finding other living options closeby.

Responsibilities:

Family Duties (approx. 50%)

● Provide warm, attentive care and plan age-appropriate activities

● Integrate Spanish naturally into daily life

● Encourage positive behavior, healthy habits, and general well-being

● Maintain structure and consistency in daily routines

● Manage children’s schedules, including school, sports, playdates, and activities

● Prepare healthy children’s meals/dinners

● Handle small household tasks and general tidiness

● Organize wardrobes, school items, and travel preparations

● Collaborate closely with parents and household staff

YOUNG Responsibilities (approx. 50%)

● Assist with administrative, project-based, and operational tasks

● Support team members with day-to-day activities and events

● Represent YOUNG professionally in internal and external communication

● Help maintain smooth operations, structure, and organization

● Move quickly, act independently, and deliver outcomes

Requirements:

● Native or fluent Spanish speaker with strong English

● Experience working with children (preferably multiple)

● Confident and comfortable riding a bicycle

● Willing to relocate to the Netherlands

● Responsible, calm, proactive, flexible, and adaptable

● First-Aid certification is a plus

● Dutch language is a plus

● EU passport or independent visa eligibility (no sponsorship available)

What We Offer:

● Net salary: €1500–€1800 per month, depending on experience

● Optional: Live-in housing with private room

Schedule:

● Approx. 40 hours per week

● One full day off weekly

● Occasional planned evening babysitting
