Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead a complex, multi-stream Business Transformation Program for a leading telecom client. This high-impact role involves close collaboration with C-suite stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives aimed at enabling significant cost savings and elevating the organization’s Autonomous Operations Maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of a large-scale, multi-year business transformation program spanning operations, IT, and organizational change.
- Oversee multiple workstreams, each led by a Stream Lead; ensure strategic alignment and integration across all streams.
- Shape and drive the transformation roadmap with a clear focus on operational savings, efficiency, and maturity improvements.
- Engage directly with senior business leaders and influence decision-making at the executive level.
- Guide the adoption of automation, AIOps, and autonomous operations within a telecom context.
- Ensure robust program governance, risk management, and realization of business benefits.
- Champion change management and enterprise-wide alignment to transformation goals.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 20+ years of total experience, with 15+ years in the telecom industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex transformation programs within telecom organizations.
- Direct experience working with and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of where transformation value is generated within telecom businesses, especially around Autonomous Operations, AIOps, and Digital Twin concepts.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience spanning business, IT, and operational domains.
- Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and communication abilities.
- Experience with European telecom operators; Dutch language proficiency is a strong plus.
