We are looking for a new colleague who is interested in the world of trademarks and patents, especially in maintaining these rights with a sharp eye for processes and deadlines.

What will you do?

As a Renewals Officer, you are responsible for executing renewals on behalf of Trademarks & Designs. You ensure that our clients retain their intellectual property by closely monitoring processes and deadlines. You take the right steps yourself and respond smartly to deadlines and client needs.
Your responsibilities include:

Monitoring renewal deadlines for clients

Sending price quotes to clients for renewal payment.

Communicating with clients about deadline reminders, extensions or terminations, complaints, start of penalty periods, last deadline day, or special arrangements

Consulting with attorneys about bottlenecks

Checking reminders from agents

Issuing renewal orders via the task list

Preparing a monthly list for the competent authorities with payments and confirmed renewals, sending it after approval, and checking the receipt confirmation.

Paying critical renewals and reporting them to the client

Requirements

You have completed an MBO-4 or HBO degree.
Additionally:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office

Good planning and organizational skills

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

This is a full-time position (38.75 hours), 31 hours per week can be discussed.
