This is what you will do
The Procurement department is responsible for all purchasing activities of Odido. As Strategic Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for purchasing activities for several business units (Network, IT and Enterprise). Your exact scope will be determined by the category allocation in the Procurement team. For the named business units, the scope ranges from network systems and applications with quite opposite examples like transmission systems to voicemail applications, IT systems like portals, CRM and billing, and main Enterprise partner contracts as well as outsourced services for the Enterprise business unit.
In the position of Strategic Sourcing Manager, you are responsible for setting up, controlling and implementing contracts by means of the Procurement sourcing process. You will ensure the best price / quality for your internal customers, conduct supplier management and interact with our external procurement service provider. You work together in a team of sourcing managers and contract managers, where you are responsible for your designated domain.
The responsibilities/tasks include:
- Align with and advise internal customers/stakeholders on sourcing needs and expected sourcing outcomes.
- Develop the approach and negotiation strategy for the assigned sourcing projects, including appropriate market analysis.
- Execute the RFx process or dedicated supplier negotiations as sole Odido commercial representative to the invited vendors to achieve the optimal Odido goals.
- Guide the project teams in the sourcing process to ensure an objective sourcing process. Present the sourcing intermediate results and final recommendations to the relevant project steering committees.
- Negotiate contracts with the selected vendors in alignment with the internal teams and the Odido Legal department. Conclude the full procurement process including the final signing activities.
- Handover sourcing results to the assigned contract manager and assist the contract manager and the internal teams in case of escalations or vendor performance subjects.
- Continuously identify saving opportunities in the assigned domain and build and execute optimization plans together with contract managers and the internal teams.

You bring this
You hold a BSc or MSc in a relevant business field. You have at least 5 years’ experience in a procurement position within a relevant domain. This has given you detailed knowledge of technical procurement and supplier markets relevant to Odido. And you possess practical knowledge in the areas of sourcing and fulfillment. You hold a good understanding of contractual aspects related to contracts and in general of telecommunications networks.
You can identify with a cost-cutting mindset and are willing to take the extra mile to achieve the best deal for all parties.
