Your opportunity
As a Technical Superintendent , you will be safeguarding the technical integrity of the vessel(s) and equipment in your responsibility and ensuring these are fit for purpose in the broadest sense. Based on data analysis , as well as operational and development project outlook , you will prepare and control yearly and longer-term maintenance, repair, and modification plans and budgets . In the execution of these plans, you will act as a Project Manager, maintaining an overview of work scopes for R&M, modifications, or investment projects.
What you will do
- Decide on appropriate actions based on relevant class, flag, and other legislation and all available data (existing business intelligence dashboards like Downtime, Cost control, Inventory, and Asset management)
- Be responsible for the daily repair and maintenance (R&M) on board the assigned vessel(s), in close coordination with TD staff and other disciplines as required
- Act as a Project Manager; organize and control the repair and maintenance (R&M) of the assigned assets including damage repairs, modifications, and project preparations
- Prepare, maintain, and control project and budget plans and overview
- Actively propose and support standardization of working methods and improvement of procedures

What you already have
- +7 years of experience in technical management of complex vessels
- MSc. or BSc. degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
- A solution-finding and communicative approach , as you will have to bring diverse interests and people together to achieve great results
- A strategic but adaptable mindset , so you guard the longer-term outlook while responding appropriately to changes in projects or fleet requirements
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English so that you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team and clients worldwide
- Available for full-time work in The Hague area , and occasional traveling around the globe
- Passion for driving offshore technological solution s is key
