Apply Now! /ppAs our operations in the Netherlands continue to grow, we are expanding our freight division with two dedicated positions: /pulliSea Freight Supervisor /liliRoad Freight Supervisor /li /ulpThis role was originally opened solely for sea freight operations. However, with the increasing volume and integration of multimodal transport, we are now also hiring a separate Road Freight Supervisor. Each professional will focus on their respective domain while collaborating for operational excellence. /ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliOversee sea or road freight operations (depending on role), ensuring alignment with approved customer quotations. /liliLiaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, trucking companies, and relevant partners to manage transport activities. /liliPrepare and follow up on quotations for sea or road freight, engage with overseas agents and partners. /liliEnsure smooth coordination of transport flow based on confirmed bookings and customer requirements. /liliMaintain continuous communication with clients regarding shipment status. /liliFoster strong relationships with carriers, customers, and internal teams. /liliEnsure accurate data entry in systems, including load details and pre-alerts. /liliMonitor customs procedures for both import/export shipments and ensure compliance. /liliConduct profit-loss analyses, ensure invoicing accuracy, and support finance in invoice approvals. /liliGenerate regular operational and financial reports for senior management. /liliEnsure adherence to all Health Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. /liliSupport the maintenance or acquisition of relevant certifications (e.g., NVOCC for sea freight). /li /ulpRequirements: /pulli3+ years of experience in logistics, specifically in sea or road freight operations. /liliRelevant certification such as NVOCC (for sea freight) is preferred. /liliFluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.
